Bellagio is
the loveliest and one of the most famous and noble town of the
lake, also known as “The pearl of the lake”.
It is a picture-perfect location on a point of land where the
lake forks into three distinct basins, with one long leg
sweeping north into the Alps; Como at the southern end of the
western leg, and Lecco is at the southern end of the eastern
leg.
Over the centuries the marvellous environment of Bellagio has
inspired poets, novelists, composers and plenty of other
visitors and nowadays it is still considered just an enjoyable
place to spend time because of its charming and picturesque
landscape.
